Together in Pride

The panel, which was kickstarted by Rachel Collins, hosted by Lee Israel and lined up Mark Svensson, Emily Hamilton, Moana Tumahai and Ivana Bitunjac, discussed the importance of sustaining LGBTQ+ inclusion and community in the workplace beyond Pride Month, emphasising authentic representation, allyship, intersectionality, and ongoing dialogue as key to fostering a supportive environment, while also addressing current challenges such as increased hostility towards trans individuals and the need for moral courage in leadership.

Significant contributions included practical advice on challenging microaggressions, the value of visible role models, and the necessity of year-round, meaningful engagement from both LGBTQ+ professionals and allies to ensure lasting positive change.
